Defence-grade and defence-adjacent technology and manufacturing
An Australian capability company. Light manufacturing and prototyping for others, with our own dual-use platforms as the proving load. Always under human direction.
ArmaTech Industries was founded in Brisbane in January 2025. Our focus is building Australian manufacturing and engineering capability: design, prototyping and light manufacturing, carried out for customers and applied to our own platforms.
The capability behind defence-grade systems is the same capability behind equipment for emergency services, mining, agriculture and construction. One workshop serves both, so our work is dual-use by design.
Prototyping-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS), offered at light-manufacturing scale. The same capability is available in three ways.
Engineering, design, prototyping and small-batch manufacturing, carried out by ArmaTech to your brief.
Facility and capability access for teams who want to undertake the work themselves.
Where a part or process sits outside our own capacity, we source it from manufacturers able to produce it and handle integration, assembly and testing, so you deal with one accountable party.
Our own platforms share common componentry and a modular design, so each one builds on the last. They are dual-use, and all autonomy operates under human direction.
A reconfigurable multi-terrain legged ground platform, with reconnaissance (Arachnid) and logistics (MULE) configurations. Applications include disaster response, search and rescue, and remote-site logistics.
A powered exoskeleton to extend the load, endurance and mobility of the wearer. Applications include emergency services, mining and construction.
A modular counter-measures kit for detecting and responding to uncrewed systems, beginning with counter-drone. Applications include critical-infrastructure and event airspace security.
Coordinated operation across multiple platforms, with the systems to deploy and store them. Applications include wide-area survey, bushfire detection and search.
Shared componentry, reconfiguration and scalability, so tooling and knowledge carry from one platform to the next.
Additive manufacturing as the core process; designs built for repair, remanufacture and material recovery; automation introduced once a step is proven by hand.
Machines carry out the dangerous or exhausting part of a task a person has given them. People stay in control.
The next stage is scaling from light manufacturing towards production rate. We welcome conversations with customers, research partners, government and prospective capital partners.
Have a prototyping or manufacturing need, a capability brief, or an interest in partnering? We are open to early conversations.
